KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Nancy Plowman Rominger, 83, closed her eyes in death, Saturday morning, June 26, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center, and opened her eyes in Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born September 14, 1926 in Forsyth County to Silas and Bessie Mae Norman Plowman. She was a member of Faith of God Church in Walkertown. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nancy enjoyed sewing, gardening, and making Quilts; she was a hard worker and a good mother and loved her Lord. She had a big heart and helped others who were in need. She was musically inclined and taught her son to play the guitar. Heaven got a good one. An 11 a.m. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, with the Rev. Jerry Goode officiating. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Holder; her first husband, Edward Preston Heath; and her second husband, Henry Rominger. She is survived by her children: Bessie H. Montgomery of Walkertown, Bill Heath and wife, Ellen of Kernersville, Tony Edward Heath and wife, Kathy of Burlington, three sisters: Kaye Alford, Faye Thomas, and Ruth Miller, all of Thomasville; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at her home, Wilson Dairy Road, Kernersville. Memorials may be made to Forsyth County Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
