Born in Windsor, Maine, the daughter of the late Charles and Elona (Kirby) Smith, she lived in Mattapoisett for most of her life.
She attended the Mattapoisett Congregational Church and the Marion Methodist Church.
Mrs. Silveria was formerly employed at the Mattapoisett Nursing Home and as a school bus matron for the Town of Mattapoisett.
She enjoyed crocheting and collecting dolls.
Survivors include four sons, Charles J. Silveria, Clifford S. Silveria, Francis H. Silveria, and Timothy M.Silveria, all of Mattapoisett; three daughters, Dorothy L. Gaspar and Nancy J. Olsen, both of Mattapoisett, and Sally R. Scudellari of Springfield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Allen T. Silveria, grandmother of the late John Silveria, sister of the late Grace Briggs, Phoebe Dexter, Walter Smith, William Smith, and Richard Smith, and aunt of the late Madeline Philla.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in Cushing Cemetery.
