The daughter of Marcus and Laverne McGee, Leanna passed away from ovarian cancer on May 10, 2013 at her home. She fought a brave battle with ovarian cancer. Survivors include her husband Lawrence; sons, Scott and Anthony; sisters, Ruth, Shirley and Marcia; and eight grandchildren Timithy, Scott, Skyler, Isaiah, Alexsis, Xavier, Chanell and Cadence. Services were held at Holy Trinity A.M.E. Church. Leanna was laid to rest at Palm Northwest Cemetery.
