Morgan-Harry J Wilkinson, 89, passed away Sunday August 25, 2002, following an extended illness.

He was born July 26, 1913, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alice Myrtle Wood and John Wilkinson.

He married Dorothy Warner, April 3, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was active in the LDS Church where he served as President of the Young Men, High Priest Group Leader and many years as the Ward Clerk.

He lived in Hoytsville and Salt Lake City and bought a farm in Mt. Green where he raised his children and worked very hard. he also worked as a contractor on many projects including putting in the water systems at Sunridge and Causey Estates. he developed Rosehill subdivision in Mt. Green and was the owner of the Wilkinson Water Company.

Harry loved to fly and received his pilot's license in 1950. He owned his own airplane and built the Mt. Green Airport. He was active in civic affairs, including the Civil Air Patrol, Ski Patrol, first commander of the Morgan County Jeep Patrol, Farm Bureau and Soil conservation District, Planning and Zoning Commission and was a Morgan County Commissioner for eight years. He was active4 in the Democratic Party where he ha been the Chairman.

Dorothy and Harry loved to travel and enjoyed many trips on their snowmobiles. For many years he and Dot went deer hunting on Elk Mountain and Pheasant hunting with his sons and son-in-law.

Surviving is his wife Dot; six children, Wayne and Shirley Wilkinson, Rex and Janeal Wilkinson, Mark and Sheila Wilkinson, Jim and Kathy Collins, a foster son Jesse and Andrea Anderson all of Morgan, Max and Shawna Wilkinson, Wellsville and Jack and Ann Taylor, west Haven, two brothers John and Bert, four sisters Alice, Kathleen, Shirley and Marge. He had 58 grandchildren, 127 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister, one grandson and one great-grandson.
