Joanna (Clark) Thomas passed away in her sleep Saturday December 18, 2021. She was residing with her daughter, Bonnie Massey in Pataskala, Ohio. She was born July 27, 1920 in Newport, Ohio to Charley O. Clark and Anna (Jobes) Clark and was the last of 9 siblings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Thomas, daughter, Christine Lemoine, and siblings Opie Clark, Orland Clark, Lucelia Burton, Woodie Clark, Thelma Kinney, Wilda VanWey, Ruth Rake, Bonnie Armor, and Lola Weihl and many nieces and nephews.

She was a charter member of the Marietta Chapter of Stepping Stones for Ohio Valley University and she and her sisters' angel pin fundraiser gave them the nickname "Charley's Angels". She was also a life member of the Edward Parrish Chapter-the National Society Colonial Dame XVII Century.

She has been a member of the church of Christ since she was a teenager and gave many years preparing for and teaching children the Bible.

Joanna is survived by her daughters Sandi Miller Stephan of Heath, Ohio and Bonnie Massey ( Roger)of Pataskala, Ohio, eight grandchildren Rhonda Malone (Rod), Kent Miller(Kristina), John Massey(Leigh Ann), Jodi Ross(Craig), Misty McClatchey(Chris), Mindi Motes, Paxton LeMoine(Judy), and Kirby LeMoine(Cara), 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Hadley Funeral Home, 1021 Pike Street Reno, Ohio, Wednesday December 22 from 12-2 followed by the funeral at 2:00 with Roger Rush officiating. Entombment to follow at East Lawn Mausoleum. Online condolences may be made at www.hadleyfh.com.
