LAKELAND -- Mr. Clyde R. Page of Lakeland died Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2000) at home. He was 87.

Born in Lansing, Mich., on March 10, 1912, he came to Lakeland from Puerto Rico in 1980. He was founder and president of Halco Sales Inc., San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was a member of Free Methodist Church for 70 years, serving as treasurer, church board member and Sunday school superintendent. He was a member of Christian Businessmen's Committee of U.S.A. and International, and traveled to establish new groups.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Page; daughters, Carolyn Glair, Michigan, Gwendolyn Santiago, Puerto Rico, and Susan Claussen, Winter Haven; brother, Clifford Page, Kentucky; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Carpenter's Home Estates, Lakeland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clyde and Florence Page scholarship fund, Spring Arbor College, Spring Arbor, Mich.
