Larry and Kay were quite a couple who traveled with many friends worldwide. They were very active with the Santa Cruz harbor and fishing industry. When they were in their 50's, being of sound mind, they sold their Saratoga home where they raised their children, took the money and spent it on world travel. They especially enjoyed the Orient, toured Europe, Indonesia, Egypt, Mexico, Australia, and the South Pacific.
Larry had many great fishing buddies and so did Kay. Their '38 boat was called Katy-Did because Katie caught the most and biggest fish with her "magic" pole she had for over 50 years. That pole is still kept in the house! She also had a large ceramics room and greenhouse where she taught 20 of her best friends art for more than 20 years.
An incredible couple are again together, they were the best of parents a child could have. Larry made sure to hug his sons daily! What a great friend and father! I will miss you! Glad you are with Mom!!
