Marrying at a young age, he moved to California in 1967. After spending many years there, he returned home to Texas in 1986. A Dallas Cowboy fan, he loved Football and played the game himself, while in school. Television was Jack's "thing". As a child his heroes were Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and Zorro. Later in life it was Monday Night Football. Every Monday night of the season, he could be found in front of the TV watching the game.
Jack went home to be with Jesus on July 25, 2005 at the age of sixty years and fourteen days. A memorial service was held at Crawford-Bowers funeral home in Killeen, and his body cremated. The ashes were scattered at the grave site of his maternal grandparents, Wesley and Alpha McGuire, in Memorial Park, Killeen, Texas.
"We love and miss you Jack, and you will NEVER be forgotten!"
