Mrs. McCarver, 90 years old, died Monday at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 16, 1899, in Olivehill, Tenn., the daughter of Thomas W. and Lusia M. Harber Yarbrough. She married Walter McCarver Oct. 30, 1921. He died Dec. 26, 1979.
Mrs. McCarver had moved to the Lutheran Home in 1988. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Elsie Dugan, Virginia Morgan and Joyce Hardin; a brother, Mirl Yarbrough; two sisters, Irene Thompson and Lella James; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, three sisters, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
