Scott Rayburn Hamilton, 76, of Prestonsburg, died July 1, 2013, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 11, 1937, in Pike County, to the late Holton Ashton and Iuca Esta Sherman Hamilton.

He was the husband of Patricia A. Stolliker Hamilton.

Scott was a retired truck bed inspector for May Metal, US Air Force Veteran and attended the United Methodist Church in Prestonsburg.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry C. Hamilton.

He is survived by two daughters, Beverly J. Goble of Ivel, and Tina L. Hamilton of Bowling Green, one brother, Danny H. Hamilton of Prestonsburg, sisters, F. Gail Click of Parma, OH., Patricia A. Arnett of Emma, Donna C. Phipps of Bronston, and Barbara J. Ryan of North Olmstead, OH., and two grandchildren, Dylan H. Barrett & Cole J. Barrett.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 27, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Emma Methodist Church, with military services @ 3:00 p.m. in Emma. Service will be officiated by Tommy Reed and Garfield Potter. Burial was held at Sherman Cemetery in Emma.
