Brian was born in Drexel Hill, PA to Winnie and the late Joseph Maguire. Among Brian's proudest and happiest moments were the marriage of his son Brian; the birth of his grandson; his daughter Ashley's academic achievements; his son Ian's success on the stage and at work and his daughter Corrine's academic and singing prowess.
Brian's happiest times were spent with his family. He was most content at his vacation home in Shawcrest, NJ where he hosted many family get-togethers. He considered himself a master chef at the barbecue grill and would insist you try everything he grilled. Brian's booming laugh and welcoming invitation to "come on over!" was a constant presence in his Shawcrest home where he was proud of his new pool and insisted that family and friends enjoy it whether he was home or away.
Golf was also a favorite pastime. Brian spent many hours on the course with friends and family and was instrumental in rallying support for many charitable golfing events. Brian developed and taught a program designed to train students in steam generation for Exelon in conjunction with Delaware County Community College.
He enjoyed sharing his years of expertise in generation with his students and enjoyed a great rapport with them. Survivors: Brian is survived by his wife Helen (nee Naughton); his children Brian (Missy), Ashley (Joe), Ian, Corrine and his grandson, Brian. He is also survived by three sisters, four brothers and many other family and friends.
