Mrs. Lois Nex Johnson, 81, of 111 Campbell Avenue, Bowdon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 4, 1980 in Tanner Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Carroll County August 17, 1898, the daughter of the late Augustus and Flora Jane Swan Nix. Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong resident of this area.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ella M. Nix, Atlanta, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were June 6 from the Rainwater Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Allan Lawler officiating.
Pallbearers were Dale Robinson, Melton Watson, Charles Johnson, Frank Aldridge, Henry Aldridge and James Aldridge. Interment was in the Indian Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
