Dhaene, Mrs. Mamie, 252 Elvin Ct., Age 65, died Sunday, April 23, 1961 at a local hospital. She had been a resident of Lansing for the past 43 years, coming from Stanton. Mrs. Dhaene was a member of the Church of the Resurrection and the Altar Society of the church. Surviving are the husband, Lawrence; 1 daughter, Mrs. Robert Sutherland of Lansing; 2 grandchildren; two brothers, Alphius Manson of Paulding, O. and Raymond Manson of Defiance, O.; 1 sister, Mrs. Orvel Keck of Oakwood, O. Funeral services for Mrs. Dhaene will be held at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 1961, from the Church of the Resurrection with Rev. Fr. Francis Martin officiating. Interment in Deepdale Cemetery. The rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7 at the Palmer-Bush funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Arthur DeClereq, Harry Calhoun, Harold Huntley, S. VanKulken, R.C. Whaley, and Lucian DeLang.
