Jason was a 1995 graduate of Maconaquah High School and was Foreman of Operations at Hanson Aggregate of Peru. He also, worked with his father in the family business, Hunt's Drainage. Jason was the assistant girl's varsity basketball coach at Maconaquah High School and an avid golfer. He was a member of the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
In addition to his wife, Lindy, he is survived by his children Caylee Hunt and Jaden Hunt, both at home, his father Benji Hunt of Amboy, IN, his mother, Mary Rizzo of Kendallville, IN, his paternal grandmother, Ruth Hunt of Amboy, his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Majors, a brother, BJ Hunt of Peru, IN and a sister, Tracy Bautista of Peru, IN
A service celebrating the life of Jason S. Hunt will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church with Pastor Ben Schlegel officiating. Burial will be in the Mast Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
