Lillian Margaret Peterson Curtiss age 80 of Biggsville, Illinois died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport. Born Sept 29, 1917 at rural Olena, Illinois she was the daughter of Ira and Ida Morse Peterson. She married Lynn Wilson Curtis on June 27, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, Ia. He died June 2, 1962. She attended schools in the Stronghurst, Illinois area. She did domestic work at the home of Bill and Jane Wier for many years. She also was a nurses aide at the former Burlington Memorial Hospital and later St. Frances Hospital. She was a member of Biggsville UMC, enjoyed reading and gardening. Her sons were Robert L. Curtiss and Jon L. Curtiss, both of Biggsville, Il. Five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two brothers. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents. The family will recieve friends today at Sederwall Chapel in Biggsville.
