Brian Reid Beatty, 47, passed away July 10, 2013 due to complications of heart disease at his home in La Pine. He was born February 15, 1966 in Cedar City to James Thomas and Helen Littlefield Beatty.

Brian was raised in Hurricane and graduated from Pine View High School. He continued his education by becoming a certified paramedic in both Nevada and Texas. He received a technical degree from ITT Tech and worked for several years for the Intel Corporation. Brian loved the outdoors and could often be found hiking with his dogs.

Brian is survived by siblings: Thomas (Denise) Beatty, American Fork; Selena (Ray) Terry, Richfield; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog companions, Bryce and Aly.

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Toquerville Ward Relief Society Room.
