Johnny Howard Gibson was born on July 17, 1933 in Kenefic, OK and moved to Brawley at the age of 2 years old.
He attended B.U.H.S. and graduated with the class of 1952.
Johnny was drafted in 1953 and served in the service until 1955. He went to Augburg and Newenburg, Germany, he ended his service as a Corporal.
Johnny married Norma Floyd on June 26, 1959.
Upon returning, he worked at Favre Tractor, IID, Braden-Empire Machinery, and was a service manager at Braden's.
He started Brawley Tractor Repair, and worked at Jordan Implements. He started G&W Tractor in 1977.
Johnny loved going to the desert and hunting and fishing. He loved all of his relatives, and he went to all of his kids and grandkids ball games.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Luther Gibson, his mother, Cora May Gibson, and his nephew, Mark Floyd.
He is survived by his wife Norma Gibson, his sons, Johnny Gibson II (Cindy), Michael Gibson (Denise), Ronald Gibson (Libby), Grandchildren, Johnny Gibson III (Heather), Mark Gibson (Ashley), Nick Gibson, Ryan Gibson (Brandi), Cassi Gibson, Brittani Gibson, Steven Gibson (Celeste), Thomas Gibson, Hannah Gibson, Sammy Gibson, Haley Gibson, Haden Gibson, and great-grandchildren, Brooke, Markie, Sean, Cailyn, Lilly, Brooklyn, and Savannah, plus numerous great nephews and nieces.
