Mrs. Lydia Gaines, 79, of 508 Cherry Street, died at the Community Hospital Wednesday following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Saturday at 10 a.m. with Bishop George Castleton officiating.
Interment will be in Lower Hill Cemetery.
Parson Funeral chapel is in charge of arrangements.
The former Lydia Sanford was born at Shickley, Neb. Oct. 24, 1897. She lived in Arkansas and Wyoming before moving to Montana 50 years ago.
She worked as a waitress in several Montana cities before coming to Anaconda 15 years ago.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bean of California. Four daughters and two sons-in-laws survive: Mr. and Mrs Tom Wimer of Colstrip, Mr. and Mrs Myles Lewis of Anaconda, Mrs. Ione Baker, Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Mrs. Florence Kreager of Baker, Mt.
A sister, Mrs. Goldie Owens survives at Philipsburg, Kan.
