James Durward "Jimmy" Barham Jr., 56, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 17, 1955, in Columbus, Miss., to James Durward and Grace Gordon Barham. He owned and operated Barham Contracting.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Grenada Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Caron Barham of Grenada; daughter, Amy Barham of Grenada; step-daughter, Kylea Sanderock of Grenada; step-son, Jody Sanderock of Grenada; two sisters, Barbara B. Lee (Lamar) of Batesville and Betty B. Boyle (Charles Tingle) of Carbon Hill, Ala.; a brother, Gerald Copeland of Weatherford, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
