She was born at Defiance,Ohio,the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Boff Batt. A Dodge City resident since 1928, she worked at St.Anthony Hospital, from 1928 until her retirement in 1964.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral,Altar Society and Daughters of ISabella all of Dodge City,KS.
On Nov.7,1922 she married Ray T.Patterson at Fowler,KS. He died July 31,1970.
Survivors include two sons, Donald of Guymon,Ok and Thomas of the home in Dodge City,KS; six daughters, Margaret Preissser of Denver,Colo, Luella Vogel, Rita Horton, and Edna Ricker of Dodge City,Dorothy TUlly of Wichita,KS and Carol Sharp of Chattanooga,Tenn; brother Ted Batt of Zenda,KS; 33 grandchildren,47 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
