Brian R. Stanley
ELYSBURG — Brian R. Stanley, 27, of 210 Quarry Road, Elysburg, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 54 in Rush Township.
Born at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, July 17, 1985, he was a son of James M. and Donna (Knauer) Stanley, of Elysburg.
He graduated from Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School in 2003 and was employed as a machine operator at MBA Building Supply, Frackville.
Brian loved to spend time with his two children, Sara and Mason Stanley, of Coal Township. He also enjoyed four-wheeling and camping.
He was a proud member and firefighter for the Ralpho Fire Company Station 290 and the East End Fire Company, Kulpmont.
He was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg.
Surviving in addition to his parents and children are a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Danelle Stanley, of Kulpmont; fraternal grandmother, Loretta Zevetski, of Kulpmont; one of his favorite aunts and godmother, Roberta Weinreich, of Kulpmont, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Robert Zevetski, and maternal grandparents, George and Mary Theresa Knauer and godfather, Edward Knauer.

STANLEY — Brian R. Stanley, 27, of 210 Quarry Road, Elysburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St., Elysburg, with the Rev. Alfred P. Sceski officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor. There will be no viewing on Friday. Everyone is invited to attend the Mass.
