Born Nov. 23, 1913, in Enola, daughter of the late Barney and Nancy Spradlin Sublett, she was a homemaker and mother as well as a member of the Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay Gardner; and one son, Don Clayton Gardner.
Survivors are a son, Ned Gardner of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Ima Ruth Poczik of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Floyd Sublett of Mount Vernon and Boyd Sublett of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Billie Ford of Mayflower; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with the Rev. Randall Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
