Lawrence W. "Larry" Ellis, 72, Normal, formerly of Plainfield, died at 6:21 p.m. Friday (July 12, 2013) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
He was born Sept. 1, 1940 in Jacksonville, the son of John and Marjorie Hamilton Ellis. He married Elizabeth "Betty" J. Stafford Therrien on June 5, 1976 in Plainfield. She survives.
Also surviving him are two sons, Dale (Katherine) Therrien and Douglas Therrien; four grandchildren, Natalie (Tony) Castaneda and Gordon, Derek and Emilie Therrien; one sister, Peggy Ellis; his stepmother, Shirley Ellis and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
