Floyd Allen Castiaux Sr., 59, of Mansfield died October 9, 1999 at Carle Arbours, Savoy. Funeral services will be at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home in Mansfield with burial in Mansfield Cemetery.
Mr. Castiaux was born February 9, 1940 in Cincinnati, s/o Desiree and Bessie Camp Castiaux. He married Margaret Ann Woolsey on October 5, 1963 in Jacksonville. She died April 22, 1999. Survivors include his mother, Bessie Castiaux of Palmyra; a daughter, Sarah Shepherd of Rantoul; two grandchildren; a brother, LeRoy of Belleville; and three sisters: Virginia Horn, Waterloo; Thelma Hamm, Waverly; and Lucille Clark, Benton Harbor MI. He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Mr. Castiaux worked in building services at the University of Illinois for 27 years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Mansfield.
