The death of James Maskill of Lincoln, NB, occurred at home on Sunday, July 6th, 2003. Born in Truro, NS, he was the son of the late Thomas and Jennie(Whooten) Maskill, husband of the late Catherine (Johnson) Maskill. James was a member of the Oromocto Legion, Branch # 93, he was also a proud member of the Black Watch, with 30 years of service. James was also a retired commissionaire. Survived by three sons, Robert (Carol) of Halifax, NS, Allen of Mapleridge, BC and David (Elaine) of Fredericton, NB; one daughter, Marilyn (John) Stennick of Fredericton, NB; several grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy of Truro, NS and Hanna of British Colombia. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Catherine and brother Thomas Jr. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 108 Winnebago Street, on Tuesday, July 15th, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Bob Jones will officiate. Interment will be in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the New Brunswick.
