Timothy L.Tracy, age 49 Timothy L.Tracy, age 49, died suddenly July 13, 2013 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland.
Timothy was raised and educated in Swarthmore and a 1983 graduate of Swarthmore High School where he was an outstanding athlete. Most recently Tim has been a resident of Aston for 19 years. He was a family man, loving husband, and father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tim cast a large shadow that will never fade.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local 115, AOH Son's of Ireland Division 17 Delaware County. Tim loved to cook, golf and was an avid sports fan who loved Notre Dame football, the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers and Phillies. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friend Butch. Tim was employed by DELCORA as a crew chief for the past 15 years and was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lenni.
He was the son of late Margaret (Marcell) Tracy. Survivors: His wife of 19 years Nancy(Bergin) Tracy his daughters Erin and Kelly Tracy, His father Francis Tracy, sister Patricia Charnock, brothers Michael, Daniel, and David Tracy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Funeral Mass: Thursday, 10:30am, at St. Francis De Sales Church, 33 New Road, Aston.
Burial: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation: Wednesday evening, from 6-9:00 pm and Thursday morning, from 8:30-9:30am, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. In lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to the Tracy Children's Memorial Fund, C/O Sun East Federal Credit Union.
