James Emanuel Bundy, 83, of Coal Grove, OH., passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

The Ironton, Ohio native was born November 22, 1929, the son of the late James Millard Bundy and Effie Akers Bundy.

He was a United States Army Veteran, Marksman Rifleman and received the Victory medal. He was a former truck driver for Henthorn's Dry Cleaning and an active member of Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Delawder, brothers, Charles Bundy and Wilson Bundy, sisters, Ann Akers, Mary Akers and Mildred White.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Stewart Bundy of Coal Grove, OH., whom he married June 8, 1959, son, Herb (Vicki) Delawder of Coal Grove, OH., four daughters, Donna (Fred) Carey of Tallahassee, Fla., Nellie McClellan of
Ironton, OH., Patricia (Emerson) Childers of Otway, OH., and Loralee Jamison of Worthington, KY., brother, Cleve (Edna) Bundy of Ironton, OH., grandchildren, Michael Delawder, James Harris, Schreena Drake, Fred Harris, Herbie Delawder, Tammy Sue McMahon, Timothy Carey, Shane Carey, Eric Moore, Kelli Moore, Chris Gibson, Shannon Gibson, Tracy Willis, Beth Ann Brumfield, Emily Jamison, Kyle Jamison, Charles Weston, Helen Corbin, Melissa Bowman, Kelli Perkins, Teresa Mollett, Kimberly Deborde, Jamie Ferguson, Crystal Hardy and Ashley Gabbrick, his special dog Rowdy, special caregiver, Mary Dillon of Ironton, Ohio.
