Funeral service for David R. Wiest, 74, retired employee of the Portland General Electric Company, will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Colonial Morturary. Interment will be at the Rose City Cemetery. Mr. Wiest who retired in 1941, died at a local hospital Sunday. His home was at 14229 S.E. Ellis Street. Born in Klingerstown, Pa., March 5, 1879, he had lived in Portland 47 years.
Survivors include his widow, Leona, and a daughter, Evelyn M. Callahan, both of Portland; two sons, Clarence of Portland and Almon of San Francisco.
