ASHTABULA — Carolyn Frazier, age 66, of W. 48th St., Ashtabula the past two years and former Sharon, Pa. resident, died Saturday morning, July 13, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights following an extended illness.

She was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Williamsburg, Pa., the daughter of William J. and Florence H. (Goss) Christman.

She was a long time resident of Sharon, Pa. where she belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and The American Carpatho-Russian Citizen & Social Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, puzzles and swimming with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Richard B. Cole of Elizabeth, W.Va. and Mary E. (Scott) Patterson and Joseph W. (Tracy) Cole, both of Ashtabula; six grandchildren, Kayla and Michael Cole, Samantha and Alissa Patterson and Alexandra Dewey and Joseph Cole Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Aja and Bella; and four siblings, Dora Jean Becker of Jeannette, Pa., Donna Ecker of Cheswick, Pa. and Judy Fescemyer and William Christman Jr., both of Oakmont, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Frazier in 2010; a granddaughter, Jessica Cole; and a sister, Karen Hubler.

No services or calling hours will take place at this time. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Legion Scholarship Fund, in care of Mary Patterson, 1529 Stevenson Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. The Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS & CREMATORY, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, is handling arrangements.
