Mary was the daughter of Nathaniel & Rosilla (Coombs) Whitcomb; she married 1st, Paul Dean in Bristol County, Massachusetts on 4 Dec 1745. Soon after their marriage, Paul & Mary Dean removed to Hardwick, where they had 10 children. Paul Dean died about 1767. Mary married Deacon Daniel Spooner, of Petersham, as his 3rd wife on 16 Oct 1780. After Deac. Spooner died, Mary returned to Hardwick to live out the remainder of her life.
