Daughter of the late Marguerite and Charles Bonavia, Elvira was an active member of St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook, NY, and a member of Our Lady's Guild and St. Christopher's Senior Citizens. She was also a charter member of the Friends of Elmendorph Inn. She was a wonderful artist and has left a legacy of her work. She was a skilled seamstress who made clothes for herself and family.
