LEOMINSTER---David G. ‘Lefty" Wyman, Sr., 77 years old of Leominster, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in the Keystone Center in Leominster. He is survived by his wife of 55 years J. Carol (Murphy) Wyman, 2 sons David G. Wyman, Jr. of Templeton and Donald L. Wyman and his wife Lori of Leominster, daughter Debra M. Ingraham and her husband Carl of Brookline, NH, 3 sisters Elaine Edwards of Maine, June Ruzicka of Michigan and Ruth Anderson of Lunenburg, brother James Wyman of Florida, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 sisters Marion Johnson and Jean Gendron.

David was born December 9, 1935 in Leominster, son of Leroy and Rae (Clark) Wyman and was a life long resident. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1954, where he played on the football team. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard. David had been a papermaker for 40 years, before retiring from James River No. 8 Mill in Fitchburg. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, was an Eagle Scout and had coached youth football and baseball. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed skiing and loved to sing.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11 am in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 60 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
