Mrs. Tom Cox
Mrs. Tom (Inez) Cox, 80 of Brandon died early Tuesday morning in St. Dominic Hospital after a brief illness.
She was a native of Rankin County, and had lived in the community for 58 years. She was a charter member of the WMU and a loyal member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cox will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday morning from Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack Schooler, of Brandon and Mrs. Sam Vinson of Canton; two sons, Edward Cox of Little Rock, Ark. and Wallace Cox of Helena, Ark.; four brothers, E. L. Boteler of Grenada, R. H. Boteler of Laurel, R. T. Botler of Jackson and Z. R. Boteler of Baton Rouge, La.; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
