She was the daughter of Decatur and Margarette Jospehine (Holbert) Barnes and married David Milton Holloway - 19 Aug 1886 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Nolia Barnes Holloway Died At Her Home In Petersburg Last Thursday --

Mrs. Nolia Barnes Holloway, 85, died at her home in Petersburg Thursday morning, September 17, 1953, after a lingering illness.

Wife of the late D. M. Holloway, she was a native of Boonshill and a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She had been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church since girlhood.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Petersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. J. E. Doyle officiating, assisted by Rev. Hudson London and Eld. Jim Sanders, with burial in Old Orchard Cemetery.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Pylant; five sons, Dee Holloway of Gadsden, Alabama, Lester Holloway of Birmingham, Irby Holloway of Atlanta, and Frank Holloway and Pleas Holloway, both of Petersburg; two brothers, A. L. Barnes and W. H. Barnes, both of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
