Services for Brenda Gayle Waters, 57, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lone Oak chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Carver and her cousin, The Rev. Nancy Waters of Louisville, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Waters died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
A graduate of Lone Oak High School, she received a master's degree from Asbury College and was a retired teacher for the Marshall County school system. Ms. Waters was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her mother, Charline Fosberg Waters of Paducah; one sister, Lori Durbin of Lone Oak; one brother, Gary Waters of Paducah; three nephews, Gary Lee Waters of Louisville, Nathan Dale Waters of Tampa, Fla., and Cameron Durbin of Lone Oak; one niece, Alyssa Durbin of Lone Oak; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and several cousins.
Her father, George F. Waters Jr., preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
