Charles Alan “Chuck” McAdams, age 47 of Omaha, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Golden Living Center/Omaha after a lengthy illness.

Born August 19, 1965 in Kearney, NE, he was the son of Alan E. McAdams & the late Joy Croston McAdams. He spent his early life in Kearney and Bayard, NE and in Manning, Iowa, attending schools in these towns. He has also lived in Texas and Missouri but has lived in Omaha for the last 25 years. He worked at several different jobs but for the longest period of time was a tow truck driver in Omaha. He was employed the past few years at Wal Mart before illness forced him into disability.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy L. McAdams. He is survived by his father, Alan McAdams of Carthage, MO; his loving companion of many years, Denise Owens, her son David, and her mother Charlotte Killion, all of Omaha; by sisters Shelly (Dave) Laborico of Dickinson, ND, Barbara McAdams of Carthage, MO., Margaret (Pat) Keenan of Colorado Springs, CO., brothers Todd McAdams of Bellevue, NE., and Philip McAdams of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Chuck was cremated. His ashes will be interred at Home Cemetery in Tarkio, MO on Saturday, September 22nd. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Reginald Sanders officiating.
