Einer Broughton

Einer, sometimes spelled Ener, was born in Norway in March of 1850. His mother's name was Mari (Mary); his father was named Ole. Sometime before 1873, his father died.

At age 23 (1873), Einer immigrated to America with his widowed mother Mari. In 1880 (age 30), he was farming in Gordon Township of Todd County, Minnesota. His windowed mother keeping house for him.

In 1883, Einer was married to Anne Larson, born in 1848.
His mother, Mari, continued to live with them until her death at age 100 in 1919.

Einer and Anne were blessed with at least 5 children.

Hilda (1892-1972)

Ole, Emma, and Hilda never married. These three siblings are buried in the Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery, Todd Co, MN.

Einer passed away in 1936. Anne preceeded him in death in 1927. Einer and Anne are buried the Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery, surrounded by their 3 children (Ole, Emma, Hilda) and Einer's mother.
