A funeral mass for Calvin "Cal" E. Wainwright, 81, of Richmond, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Prior to the funeral mass, the family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond.
Cal was born August 7, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri. He honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Cal enjoyed flying gliders and spending time on his computer. He passed away July 11, 2013 in Richmond.
He is preceded in death by father, Calvin Preston Wainwright; mother, Elsie (Reed) Poss; step-father, Milton Poss; and a sister, Barbara Allen.
Cal is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Mary Ann (O'Brien) Wainwright; daughter, Roxanne Wood and husband, Robert; son, Richard Wainwright; grandson, Aaron Wood; along with other family and friends.
