- Mrs Sarah Jane Kling, wife of Charles M. Kling, died today at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs John Waughtel, Bittersville. She was 61 years, 10 months and 23 days old.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 with services in the Bittersville Evangelical Church, after which the funeral party will proceed to Canadochly Cemetery where interment will be made.
Surviving her, besides her husband, are the following children: Mrs Harry Knaub, Bittersville; Mrs Elmer Miller and Mrs Harry Wolf, Red Lion; S. C. Kling and M. C. Kling, York; Mrs John H. Waughtel, Mrs Simon Anstine, Mrs E. C. Smith and Raymond Kling, Bittersville. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Theodore A. Winter and Mrs Alvin Smeltzer, Red Lion; Mrs Samuel Arnold, Mrs Henry Crumbling, Mrs Peter Axo and Mrs Michael Smeltzer, near Bittersville. There survives also, 36 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs Kling suffered from a complication of diseases and was confined to her bed three months prior to her death.
