Sherri Lynn White, 32, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 after a long battle of illness, resulting from an accident in 1997.

Born July 1, 1981 in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of Linda "Darlene" White, who loved her unconditionally and cared for her over many years, and the late Jimmy Ray White.

Sherri was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of The Church of the Firstborn.

Sherri had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone she could.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Jimmy White and wife, Shawn of Middleway, WV; and Timmy White and wife, Amanda of Harpers Ferry, WV; nephew, Kyle White and wife, Paige of Newport News, VA, nieces, Heather Fridley and husband, L.J. of Harpers Ferry; and Sara White of Middleway, WV. She is also remembered by her caretaker of many years, Holly Watson of Harpers Ferry, who loved her dearly, and many cousins, adopted nieces, nephews and friends, who Sherri loved dearly and did anything for them. A special thank you to Beth Ashbaugh who was there for her and talked Sherri through her darkest days. Sherri loved her unconditionally. Many nights were spent awake with the two of them talking and listening to music.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Pete Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Murrill Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm.
