Alexander was born to proud parents Henry and Elizabeth Leiphart Dietz on January 14, 1854. He was baptized on July 2, 1854, at the Kreutz Creek Church. Alexander married his beautiful wife Annie Heistand. They had 3 children together. He was a farmer and cigar maker. Retired at time of death.
Alexander went to Heaven on November 16, 1926. He died at his home in Yorkanna, PA. He was 72 years 10 month and 2 days old. Alexander had complications from his diabetes. Gangrene of the right leg. Alexander was buried on November 19, 1926, at Canadochly Church Cemetery. Annie his wife is buried with him, she died in 1932.
