Mr. Bolton, 73, of 1801 Greencroft, died at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 31, 2007, at Greencroft Healthcare Center in Goshen. He had lived all of his life in Elkhart, moving to Goshen three years ago.
He was a retired teacher in the social studies department at Elkhart High School, Elkhart Central High School and Memorial High School, with 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War from 1953 to 1955, and was a member of the NEA, the IRTA and the Elkhart County Retired Teachers Association.
Mr. Bolton was a 1951 graduate of Elkhart High School, attended Bethel College, and earned his master's degree from Ball State University.
