Pvt. Calvin P. Kidder III, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin P. Kidder, Jr., formerly of 1507 Spring Lane, Bellevue Manor, died Thursday at the Army Hospital at Camp Pickett, Va., where he was stationed, following a short illness. He entered the Army in September.
He was born in this city and graduated from Sanford Preparatory School in 1949 and from the National Agricultural College, Doylestown, Pa., in 1953. He had worked as a salesman for some time with the Corkran-Hill Company of Baltimore, Md. before entering the service.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his grandmother, Mrs. A. G. Schwartz, who resides with Mr. and Mrs. Kidder at Aiken, S.C.
funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Chandler Funeral Home, Delaware Ave. and Jefferson St. The Rev. Donald C. Wilson of Westminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
