Castro Valley, Calif., resident Evelyn E. Connell, 97, died Friday, July 8.
She was a native of Portland, Ore., and a hat designer of 40 years.
She is survived by her loving son, Gordy Connell of Denver, Colo.; loving daughter and son-in-law, Pat and George (Roy) Bradford of Shawnee; cherished grandchildren, Joe and Cathy Bradford, Bobby and Tami Gunter, Richard Bradford, Dina Connell, Mike and Renee Woo and L. Joe Theriault; 10 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Glenda (Dr. Dennis) Perry, Judy Viri and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Connell was buried at Chapel of Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, Calif.
