Funeral services for Darnella Myers will be conducted Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Elk City with Dr. Russell Duck officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
Darnella Marie Myers was born April 26, 1931 at Jefferson County, Fleetwood, OK to Dee E. and Lela Elva (Stovall) Weatherly and passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at the age of 82. She graduated from high school in Big Spring, TX and lived in Texas most all of her life. She moved to Elk City in 2004 where she has lived since. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elk City. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Steve Darden, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include 2 children: Terry Lynn Darden of Kingfisher, OK, Angela Denise Davis and her husband Lonnie of Elk City, 2 grandsons, Braeden and Austin Davis of Elk City and a sister, Yvonne Bledsoe of Florida.
