EMMA L GERSTER SUCCUMBS AT 81; RITES WEDNESDAY
Emma L. Gerster, 81, of 1123 E. Mansfield St., died in Bucyrus Community Hospital at 7:20 a.m. this morning. She had been ill the past month.
Having lived in Bucyrus all her life, Mrs. Gerster was born Jan. 28, 1883, here, the daughter of Adam and Mary Stirm Carle. She was married to William C. Gerster, who died March 30, 1955.
Surviving are two sons, Charles, Pompano Beach, FL and James at home, two brothers, Harry J. Carle, Bucyrus and Clarence A Carle, Anderson, INd., a sister Mrs. Ernest (Bertha) Koch, Toledo, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Gerster was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, the Rev. Edwin Kressin officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
