On July 28, 1945 he was married in Moberly, Mo. to Belva Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ralph Roddy, Albert Roddy and David Roddy.
He was an active member and deacon of the Church of Christ, Centralia. He was a self-employed farmer.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia. Officiating will be Mark White, Minister, Church of Christ, Centralia. Interment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Centralia. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Fenton Funeral Chapel.
