Judith E. Barton, 68, Hutchinson, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at the Anthony Community Care Center. Mrs. Barton was born Aug. 21, 1935, at Hutchinson to B.J. and Pauline E. Follick Pallister. She was a lifelong Hutchinson and Pretty Prairie resident, but had lived briefly in Ellsworth. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1953, and was a homemaker. She married Jimmie Dale Hornbeck May 31, 1956, in Hutchinson. He died in May 17, 1969. She married Robert L. Barton June 21, 1970, in South Hutchinson. He died in 1991. Survivors include two sons, Thomas L. Hornbeck and wife Gayle of Harper, and Paul E. Hornbeck of Fort Collins, Colo.; two daughters, Ginny Hornbeck of Haven, and Susan Hornbeck of Hutchinson; two stepsons, David Barton of Pretty Prairie, and Doug Barton of Stockton, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Kathy Fowler of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kristi Rohling of Nickerson; four grandchildren; and eight step grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday at the Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial was at Fairlawn Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Anthony Community Care Center.
