Sarah Shelton, 95, passed away Wed. July 10, 2013 at Transcendent Healthcare South in Boonville.
Sarah was born Jan. 23, 1918 in Warrick County to Harvey and Daisy Ashby Ellison.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Boonville.
Sarah enjoyed bowling, traveling, walking her dog, was an avid reader and did quilting.
She worked at Embassy Men's Apparel in Boonville. She loved her children and grandchildren and all the great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shelton in 1989 and by her brothers and sisters.
Sarah is survived by two daughters, Martha Hester (Richard) of Boonville and Sandra Lublin (Monty) of Paradise, CA.; a son, John Shelton (Pat) of Boonville; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, brothers in law and sisters in law.
Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday July 13, 2013 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
