Funeral services for Stephen "Animal" Curry, 70, of Rains, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point, TX.
Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline, Texas.

Stephen Philip Curry was born June 23, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA, to Leslie Henry and Katherine Brooks Curry. He grew up in California and graduated from Van Nuys High School. Stephen, better known as Animal, moved to Texas to make his home over forty four years ago. He worked in the construction business as a contractor specializing in rebuild and finish work to perfection. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, hunting and a large glass of milk.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Christy Kuykendall and husband, Keith of Point and Christy Kay Smith of Ft. Worth; sons, Danny Curry of North Hollywood, CA and Stephen Stacey of Santa Clarita, CA; grandchildren, Nathan Clay, Dawson Brice, Tristan Cole, Danny Stephen, Jr, Cambria Kay, Zoey Katelyn and Zacharias Alton; and many other "brothers" and friends.

Visitation will be Friday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM, at the funeral home in Wills Point.
